The St. Louis WordPress Meetup is crossing the Missouri River and expanding westward to add a new monthly meetup in St. Charles.
The new meetup will be hosted at the new OPO Startups building at 119 South Main Street on July 27th at 6:30 PM by us, with subsequent meetups on the fourth Monday of each month.
What is OPO you ask? We’ll let them describe it:
OPO is a co-working center for digital Startups. Located in the newly renovated “Old Post Office” building, the 10,000 square foot facility provides regional startups with affordable workspace and access to mentors, potential investors, programming, educational resources and a community of local entrepreneurs.
We’ll be joining the already excellent St. Louis WordPress Meetup Group’s schedule of meetups on the first Monday (Developers) and third Wednesday (General) of the month. The WordPress meetups are a great way to expand your knowledge of WordPress and get tips and tricks from other individuals with varying levels of experience within the content management system.
In the first go-round yours truly, Jason Yingling, Lead Developer here at Red8, will be going through some basic WordPress security tips and setting up iThemes Security on your WordPress site. We’ll also take some time to get into everyone’s familiarity with WordPress and plan out future topics to cover.
